Description
454A Perth Road in Dundee is a single-storey lodge built in 1880 by architects James Ireland and James Maclaren. The building features an L-shaped plan and is constructed from stugged ashlar with polished dressings. A square porch is located in the re-entrant angle, and there are single windows with flat projecting surrounds and stone pentice roofs on each gable. The roof is swept slate with bracketed eaves and includes three octagonal stacks. The windows are sash and case with lying-pane glazing.
The boundary wall is made of rubble and curves towards small square gatepiers made of ashlar.
