Description

John Macleod, architect. Built 1880-81. Single storey L-plan

lodge. Porch in re-entrant angle, single window to right,

bowed 3-light window in advanced left bay of north elevation.

Coursed, stugged ashlar with polished dressings and

rusticated quoins. 2 windows to east elevation. Eaves course,

and piended slate roof with projecting eaves, curved over

bowed window.

3 square gatepiers, each with bracketted cornice and

decorative cap; low quadrant walls (that to south curved and

stepped to slope) link to lower terminal piers. All painted

ashlar. Decorative wrought-iron gates.
