Description

Clarke & Bell and RA Bryden, circa 1880. Single storey, 3-bay L-plan lodge to former Seafield Hospital. Coursed, squared sandstone; ashlar dressings. Base course; eaves course; bracketed cornice; strip quoins.

NE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: steps to shouldered open porch; timber door; single window to left; canted advanced bay to outer right.

NW (SIDE) ELEVATION: single central window.

SE (REAR) ELEVATION: single window to left; timber door to catslide section to right; single window to return to left.

SW ELEVATION: not seen 1999.

Timber sash and case windows. Slate roof; pitch stacks; circular cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 1999.

GATEPIERS, RAILINGS AND BOUNDARY WALL: paired square-plan dentilled gatepiers; low coped wall between; high decorative iron railings atop; higher coped wall enclosing site.
