Description
The Cedars is a two-storey, three-bay neo-classical villa built around 1860. It features an ashlar façade with quoins, while the sides and rear are constructed from squared rubble. The central bay is advanced and includes a pedimented doorpiece with pilasters and a fanlight. On the ground floor, there are canted bays on either side, framed by pilasters that have double capitals and a blocking course. The first floor has single lights set within margins. The villa has a main cornice and a blocking course, topped by a piended slate roof with corniced ashlar gable end stacks. The property is enclosed by rubble-built boundary walls and has ashlar gatepiers.
