Description

  1. Asymmetrical single storey, 3-bay Scots Baronial lodge. Bull-faced cream sandstone, ashlar dressings. Base course; chamfered arrises; ashlar mullioned windows; hoodmoulds.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: fanlit doorway to right, roll-moulded surround, 2-leaf panelled doors. Bipartite window to left. Advanced gable bay flanking doorway to right, bipartite window to centre, blind oculus with quatrefoil decoration to gablehead.

E ELEVATION: 2 widely spaced windows.

N ELEVATION: lower wing projecting with gabled dormerheaded window breaking eaves to E elevation.

W ELEVATION: blank.

Mostly 3-pane sash and case windows to each light. Grey slate roof; cream ashlar stacks, corniced, moulded cans.
