Duncraig Lodge, 1 Glamis Road, Dundee

Duncraig Lodge, built in 1890 by C and L Ower, is a single-storey lodge constructed from snecked rubble with painted dressings. It has an L-shaped plan and features a gable front facing the road, characterized by boldly projecting eaves. The lodge includes a timber 3-light rectangular bay window with leaded glass and bracketted eaves, as well as a piended roof. The gable facing the drive is also piended. There is a 3-light mullioned and transomed window with a trapezoidal head raised in the roof, and a porch located at the angle, which has leaded glass and an art movement turned baluster column. The roofs are covered with slate. The property is accessed through ball-capped gatepiers, although the right-hand ball-finial is missing.
