Description
The Cabmen's Shelter on Gray Street in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, was built in 1878. It is a single-storey, rectangular-plan structure designed to provide shelter for cabmen. The exterior features weatherboarding and a grey slate piended roof with a truncated ridge stack and two finials. The building has deep eaves, angle brackets at the east and west ends, and exposed rafter ends.
On the east elevation, there is a door and a tripartite window to the right, which has multi-pane upper glazing.
