Description
Earlier 19th century, 2-storey, 3-bay property, with shopfront and attic by James MacLaren Sons and Soutar, 1909, in irregular terrace. Rendered and lined, slate roof, rubble stack. Windows mainly plate-glass sash and case, mansard roof.
GRAY STREET ELEVATION: shopfront at left; moulded Peterhead granite and tiled stall risers 2 elliptically-arched windows, windiow bowed to recessed door at right with painted segmental fanlight, oval pattern bevelled glazing and panelled soffit and ingo. Tripartite shopfront at right; centre door with segmental-arched and glazed upper panel and painted fanlight, tiled stall risers, single plate glass windows with timber frames. Painted frieze board with gold affixed lettering 'GOODFELLOW & STEVEN. Bakers', and modillioned cornice. Three windows at 1st floor with lagged architraves; eaves course, bracketted cornice. Mansard attic; segmentally-pedimented single dormer window at centre, flanking pedimented bipartites. Moulded stack at right.
