Description

Station House on Balkerach Street in Doune was built around 1875. It is a single storey and attic structure with three bays, designed in a picturesque style. The building is constructed from snecked, squared rubble, featuring rock-faced dressings and quoins. The central entrance has a gabled door adorned with barge boards. The south gable end includes a bipartite window with a single light above it. The house has chamfered stacks at the ends and is topped with a slate roof.
