Description

The Shrubbery, located at 67 Magdalen Yard Road in Dundee, is a villa built in 1817. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure constructed from stugged ashlar with ashlar dressings. The villa features an advanced central bay with a pediment, which includes a round-arched doorpiece supported by Ionic columns on the ground floor. The flanking ground floor windows are adorned with cornices and architraves, while the first-floor windows are set within margins. The building has a main cornice and a blocking course, topped with a piended slate roof and a platformed roof. There are paired central stacks. The property is enclosed by low boundary walls made of rubble.
