69 Magdalen Yard Road, Dundee

69 Magdalen Yard Road is a Jacobean villa built around 1850. The building is constructed from rubble, with coursed stonework at the front and features of ashlar detailing.

The south elevation is two stories high and has three bays, with chamfered window margins and a cornice at the ground floor. The right bay is set forward and includes canted windows on both the ground and first floors. The roof has a castellated parapet adorned with ball finials, and the steep gable is decorated with skewputts, a mock gun loop, and a shaped finial. There is a central porch located in the re-entrant angle, featuring a shouldered entrance and altered glazing on the west side. The parapet displays open strapwork and a shield.

The gables have skewputts and gable end stacks, with a small window on the ground floor and two windows on the first floor, one of which is blocked on the west side. The roofs are covered with slate. The windows are sash and case style, featuring a 10-pane lying-pane glazing pattern, with 2- and 4-pane configurations in the canted window and altered glazing in the porch.

The property is enclosed by low rubble-built boundary walls.
