This building at 61 Magdalen Yard Road in Dundee dates from around 1820 and is a two-storey villa with a basement and attic, featuring an ashlar front. It has five windows, with a Doric-columned doorpiece situated in a three-window bowed center. There are two windows flanking the door and one blind window above, with the eaves breaking to form a crenellated parapet, an inset attic window, and chimney cans. Each side has single windows with cill-level band courses, and the building is topped with a main cornice and blocking course. The roof is a piended platformed slate roof with end stacks. The windows are sash and case, primarily with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The property is enclosed by low rubble-built boundary walls.
