Description
Hayford House is an asymmetrical 2-storey Jacobean villa built in 1850, located in Cambusbarron, Stirling. The front of the house features coursed rubble with ashlar details, while the sides and rear are harled.
On the south elevation, there is an advanced gabled center with skewputts and a finial, a canted bay at the ground floor, and flanking single lights. To the left, there is a porch with finialled and gabletted dormerhead windows. A single-storey wing extends to the left, and there is a broad finialled gable at the rear of the house.
The roofs are covered with slate, and there are octagonal ashlar stacks. The windows are sash and case with a 10-pane glazing pattern. The property is enclosed by rubble-built boundary walls.
