Description

4 Birkhill Road is a mid-Victorian, Rogue Gothic, two-storey detached villa. The building features snecked rubble construction and an asymmetrical design with a triple-gabled front. On the left side, there is a canted bay that extends through both floors, while on the right side, there is a bipartite window. The entrance has a shafted moulded depressed arched tripartite doorpiece with a hood moulding. The ground floor and the centre first-floor windows are also depressed arched, and there is an oriel window on the west gable at the first floor. The roof is slated and has plain bargeboards.
