Seafield Lodge, 91, 93 Magdalen Yard Road, Dundee

Seafield Lodge, built around 1840, is a two-storey villa located at 91 and 93 Magdalen Yard Road in Dundee. The building has a three-by-three-bay layout and features pediments on the south, east, and west elevations, with a lower block to the north. It is constructed of ashlar stone and includes angle pilaster strips and cill-level band courses.

On the south elevation, there are three bays, with an advanced pedimented bay on the left side. The ground floor features a four-light canted window, while the other windows are bipartite with architraves and aprons, and the ground floor windows have cornices. The west elevation mirrors the south with a similar pedimented bay on the left, ground floor windows that are two and three-light with cornices, and an altered doorway. The lower two-storey wing to the north has later porches added.

The east elevation showcases a square-piered Doric portico in the pedimented center bay, flanked by bipartite windows. The building is topped with slated pitched and piended roofs and has octagonal ashlar stacks. The interior has been subdivided, and at the rear, there are low pilastered garden walls that match the style of the adjoining Seafield Works.
