5 South Crescent Road, Ardrossan

This is an earlier 19th century villa located at 5 South Crescent Road in Ardrossan. The building is two storeys high with an attic and features three bays. It is constructed of ashlar stone. The central bay projects slightly and includes a door with a pedimented portico, which is supported by Roman Doric pilasters and fluted columns. There are two semi-circular bays on the ground floor flanking the central entrance. The first floor has three windows, and the outer piers are panelled. The cornice is topped with a balustrade and features a central attic window under a pediment, which is supported by four pilasters, with two bays on either side of the window made of channelled ashlar. The roof is piended and covered with slate, and there are two central stacks.
