Description

Glenvale is a single-storey, three-bay cottage dating from the early to earlier 19th century. The exterior is pebble-dashed with painted raised margins and a base course. On the north elevation facing Main Street, there is a door at the center with windows in the outer bays. The east and west elevations are gabled and blank. The cottage features modern glazing, red sandstone coped skew stones, and pebble-dashed gablehead stacks on both the east and west sides. The roof is covered with small grey slates and has red sandstone ridging.
