Description
Holly Cottage is a single-storey, three-bay cottage built in the mid to later 19th century, specifically after 1848. The exterior is made of painted rubble and features narrow projecting cills.
On the east elevation facing the street, there is a door located at the center, with windows positioned in the outer bays. The northeast elevation has a modern flat-roofed addition that is not traditional in style, which is attached to the length of the elevation. The windows here are timber sash and case with plate glass glazing. The cottage has red sandstone coped skew to the southeast, painted rubble gablehead stacks, small grey slates, and a red sandstone ridge.
