Description
35 Main Street in Mochrum is a cottage dating from the mid to later 19th century, specifically after 1848. It is a single-storey building with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is made of painted rubble and has projecting cills.
On the south elevation facing Main Street, there is a doorway in the centre, which has a modern timber door and a letterbox fanlight. The outer bays contain windows, and above them are canted and piended dormer windows that have decorative iron finials.
The west and east elevations are gabled and blank, with timber gates attached to the south side. The cottage has modern plate glass glazing, painted rubble gablehead stacks with painted copes, and is covered with grey slates.
