Description
Norton Cottage is an early 19th century single-storey, three-bay cottage constructed of painted rubble.
On the north elevation, there is a boarded door located at the center, flanked by windows in the outer bays. The west and east elevations are gabled and feature blank walls, with some small stones protruding from the gableheads.
The south elevation has a painted brick lean-to attached to the left side, which includes timber sash and case windows with four-pane glazing. The roof has painted coped skews and a stone ridge, along with painted rubble gablehead stacks that have thackstanes. The roof is covered with grey slates and features two small cast-iron rooflights on the north pitch.
