Description
23 Main Street in Mochrum is an earlier 19th-century single-storey and attic cottage that is part of a terrace. The exterior is dry-dashed.
On the east elevation facing Main Street, there is a doorway at the center featuring a modern door and a letterbox fanlight. Windows are located in the outer bays. Above these outer bays are canted and piended dormer windows, each topped with small decorative iron finials.
The south elevation is attached to No 21 Main Street, while the north elevation is adjoined to No 25 Main Street, both of which have separate listings. The cottage features modern glazing, granite coped mutual skews, broad painted rubble mutual stacks, and is covered with graded grey slates.
