Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey and attic, 3-bay cottage, in terrace. Painted rubble. Painted margins. Painted rusticated quoins to S.

E (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: doorway at centre; deep-set modern door; painted set of steps, with slightly curved, plain iron handrails, up to door. Windows in outer bays. Modern piended dormer windows above outer bays.

S ELEVATION: painted rubble above adjoining lower building, No 13 Main Street (see separate listing).

N ELEVATION: adjoined to No 17 Main Street (see separate listing).

4-pane glazing in sash and case windows. Red sandstone coped skews and scrolled skewputts, mutual to N. Broad painted rubble stacks, with red sandstone quoins and copes; gablehead to S, mutual to N. Small dark-grey slates.
