Description
9 Main Street in Mochrum is an early 19th-century single-storey, three-bay cottage located at the end of a terraced row. The building is constructed of painted rubble.
The east elevation facing Main Street features a central doorway with a letterbox fanlight, flanked by windows in the outer bays. The harling from No 7 Main Street extends onto this elevation from the left side.
The south elevation is adjoined to No 7 Main Street, while the north elevation is gabled and blank.
The cottage has plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows. The north side has a coped skew, and there are broad stacks; the south side is painted rubble while the north side has painted render and a gablehead. The roof is covered with variegated pink and purple slates and includes two modern rooflights on the east pitch.
