Description

Earlier 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay cottage, at end of terraced row Aberdeen bond masonry to E elevation; finely hewn coursed blocks of varied shades, with whinstone pinning. Granite lintels cills, rybats, and quions to S. Deep rendered base course. Rendered rubble to

S elevation.

E (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: doorway at centre; deep-set door with 3-pane fanlight. Windows in outer bays. Lintel above door inscribed "TD 1857".

S ELEVATION: gabled and blank.

N ELEVATION: adjoined to No 13 Main Street (see separate listing).

4-pane glazing in sash and case windows. Granite coped skew to S. Broad partly rendered rubble stacks, with cherry-caulked granite quoins; gablehead to S, mutual to N. Small grey slates.
