11 Main Street, Mochrum

11 Main Street in Mochrum is an earlier 19th-century single-storey cottage that is part of a terraced row. The east elevation features Aberdeen bond masonry with finely hewn coursed blocks in various shades, secured with whinstone pinning. The south elevation has granite lintels, cills, rybats, and quions, along with a deep rendered base course and rendered rubble.

On the east elevation facing Main Street, there is a central doorway with a deep-set door and a 3-pane fanlight above it. The outer bays contain windows, and the lintel above the door is inscribed with "TD 1857". The south elevation is gabled and blank, while the north elevation is attached to No 13 Main Street.

The cottage has 4-pane glazing in sash and case windows, and the south side features a granite coped skew. There are broad, partly rendered rubble stacks with cherry-caulked granite quoins, a gablehead to the south, which is mutual with the north. The roof is covered with small grey slates.
