Description
19 Main Street in New Luce is a single-storey, three-bay cottage built around 1840 to 1846. The structure is made of rubble, which was previously rendered or painted. The west elevation facing Main Street features a boarded door at the center, with windows located in the outer bays.
On the north elevation, the cottage is attached to a taller building, Nos 15 and 17 Main Street. The south elevation is connected to No 21 Main Street, which has its own separate listing. This side has modern glazing and lacks skews. A broad rubble mutual gablehead stack is located on the south side, and the roof is covered with small grey slates, featuring two modern rooflights.
