Description
Moss Park Cottage is a single-storey, three-bay cottage that dates from the mid to late 19th century, specifically after 1848. The exterior is made of painted rubble with narrow projecting cills. On the east elevation, which faces the street, there is a door located at the center, with windows in the outer bays. The south elevation features a gabled and blank wall. The windows are modern top-hung timber casements with plate glass glazing. The cottage has painted rubble gablehead stacks and a roof covered with purple slates, along with a red sandstone ridge. There is a modern rooflight located at the center of the east pitch. Additionally, there is a disused "GR" post-box that was formerly set into a section of rubble wall to the left of the cottage, although its current location is not known as of 2018.
