Description
High Auchenree Cottage is an earlier 19th century, single-storey, three-bay cottage designed in a T-plan. The exterior is finished in painted rubble with painted margins around the openings.
On the northwest elevation, which serves as the entrance, there is a step leading to a recessed timber door topped with a letterbox fanlight, with single windows on either side. The southeast elevation, which is the rear, features a single window beneath an advanced central catslide roof, along with single windows in the recessed bays on either side.
The cottage has four-pane timber sash and case windows and rooflights. The roof is grey tiled, with gablehead stacks and circular cans. The interior was not seen in 1997.
