Description

The ice house at Kirroughtree House dates back to the 18th century and features a simple barrel-vaulted design, with part of it located underground. The structure is built from rubble, with some brick repairs. Inside, there is a brick barrel vault. The ice house has a doorway on the south side and an opening on the north side, which includes deep embrasures.
