1 Creebridge, Creebridge, Newton Stewart

1 Creebridge is a two-storey, three-bay house dating from before 1805, located at the end of a terrace in Newton Stewart. The building is constructed of painted rubble with painted margins and a base course.

On the west elevation facing Creebridge, there is a deep-set modern door at the center, with regularly arranged windows. The left bay features a bipartite window that has been enlarged later.

The south elevation has a window to the right at ground level and is adjoined to a later single-storey public house known as The Cree Inn.

The north elevation is connected to No 3 Creebridge, which is listed separately. The windows are fitted with plate glass glazing in sash and case style, with a modern diamond-pane transfer pattern in some. The south elevation also has top-hopper glazing in one of its windows. The building features red sandstone coped skews and red sandstone ashlar gablehead stacks.
