Description

14 Main Street is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house located in Isle of Whithorn. The building is constructed of painted rubble and features painted raised margins and a basecourse. The central doorway is flanked by single light windows, all of which have modern timber-framed, two-pane plate glass pivot windows. The house has end skew, coped end stacks with thackstanes, and a slate roof that includes three skylights. Notably, where the quoins of No 14 extend above the eaves level of the adjacent house (No 12), they are made of brick.
