Description

The Dovecot at Kirroughtree House is an 18th-century octagonal tower. It is constructed from rendered rubble and features brick and stone nesting boxes. There is a rat course below the wallhead, and a doorway is located on the south side. Each face of the dovecot has an opening at ground level, and it contains approximately 460 nesting boxes. The structure is currently roofless.
