Description
The Dovecot at Glendoick House is an 18th-century structure with a square plan and two stages, topped by a pyramid roof. It is constructed from thinly harled rubble, featuring large droved squared rubble quoins and a rat course or alighting ledge.
On the southeast elevation, there is a low door at the center of the ground level, above which is a small semicircular recess with three flight holes and an alighting ledge. Above this, a small dormer with a pediment contains three tiers of three flight holes.
The southwest elevation has a small two-hole flight port located at the center, just above the alighting ledge. The northwest elevation features a small square window opening at the center.
Inside, the dovecot contains stone nesting boxes.
