Description

The Dovecot at St Germains is an 18th-century structure designed in a circular shape with two stages. It is built from sandstone rubble and features remnants of a rat course and a string course, which indicate the former presence of a battlemented parapet. There is a door located to the south, with a ventilation slit above it that was previously barred. On the east and west sides, there are two narrow flightholes with ashlar lined jambs, positioned higher in the second stage of the dovecot. The roof is shallow and domed, made of stone. The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1989.
