Description
The building known as the Stables and Granary at St Germains dates from the late 18th century and has later additions. It is a two-storey structure with a piend roof, currently used as a residential space. To the east, there are irregular single-storey additions that connect it to St Germains House, and it is located to the south of the Coach House. The exterior is constructed from cream sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features harl-pointing.
Originally, the stables had three bays on the north side, with a central door that has been blocked and replaced by three narrow windows, along with an additional window to the left. Above, there are square granary windows in the three bays. The roof is covered with grey slate.
