34 Main Street, Glenluce

34 Main Street in Glenluce is a cottage built in the later 19th century. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and features three bays. The north elevation is constructed of rubble, while the east and west elevations are painted rubble with painted raised margins and granite quoins.

On the north elevation facing Main Street, there is a panelled door at the center, which includes a letter-box fanlight. Windows are located in the outer bays, and all openings have hoodmoulds. Above the outer bays, there are two gabled dormer windows that are slate-hung.

The east elevation is gabled and blank, with a timber fence at the center. The west elevation, which faces Balkail Avenue, has a window to the right.

There have been no additions to the rear of the cottage. It features modern glazing, red sandstone coped skews, and rubble gablehead stacks with a red sandstone band on both the east and west sides. The roof is covered with modern tiles.
