Description

7 High Street in Port William is an earlier 19th century single-storey and attic cottage with three bays. The exterior is made of painted rubble and features projecting cills.

On the south elevation facing High Street, there is a doorway at the center with a modern door and a letterbox fanlight. Windows are located in the outer bays, and above the center bay is a modern box dormer window. To the right, there is a rubble wall with a boarded door flush against the cottage.

The east elevation is blank.

On the west elevation, there is a window at the center and a small window to the right in the gablehead. A door is located to the right at the basement level. The windows have 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case frames. The roof features red sandstone coped skews, painted rubble gablehead stacks, and small purple slates, along with modern rooflights on the south pitch.
