Description

Later 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house. Rendered and lined. Base course. Architraved margins to all openings to S elevation.

S (HIGH STREET) ELEVATION: porch at centre, with eaves cornice and blocking course; round-arched doorway to S, with fanlight; round-arched windows to E and W. Regularly disposed fenestration; bipartite windows at ground floor. Gabled dormer windows, with side lights and timber finials, above outer bays.

W ELEVATION: window to left at ground and 1st floors. Lower wing adjoined to left.

E ELEVATION: window to left of centre at 1st floor. Plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows; leaded coloured glass, to porch windows; 2- and 4-pane glazing to dormer windows. Coped skews; slight roll detail terminating underside of skews. Rendered and lined gablehead stacks. Graded grey slates. Octagonal cans.

BOUNDARY WALLS AND RAILINGS: low rubble wall to S, with painted saddleback coping; surmounted by iron railings with stylised thistle detailing; similarly detailed gate at centre. Rubble walls, with arched rubble coping, to E and W.
