Description

Struan is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house located on High Street in Port William. The building is constructed of painted rubble with painted margins.

The north elevation facing High Street features a centrally located door with a letterbox fanlight above it. The windows are regularly spaced, with slightly enlarged windows on the ground floor.

The east elevation is gabled and blank, with a boulder base course.

The west elevation is blank above a modern garage that is attached at ground level.

The house has timber sash and case windows, with four-pane glazing on the ground floor and two-pane glazing on the first floor. The gablehead stacks are made of painted rubble, and the roof is covered with purple slates.
