Description

Early to earlier 19th century. Single storey, 3-bay cottage, terminating terraced row. Painted rubble. Narrow projecting cills.

E (MAIN STREET) ELEVATION: door, with letterbox fanlight, at centre. Windows in outer bays.

S ELEVATION: lean-to addition to left. Rubble wall adjoined to right.

N ELEVATION: adjoined to No 18 Main Street (see separate listing).

Plate glass glazing in timber sash and case windows. Red sandstone coped skews, mutual to N. Painted and partly rendered rubble stacks, gablehead to S, mutual to N. Red sandstone ridge. 2 modern rooflights to E pitch. Cobble stones in front of cottage.
