Description
This is a painted cast-iron signpost located in Lochead, dating from around 1935 or 1950, with possibly later additions to the arms. The signpost features a tapered, green-painted post with ring shafts and a hoop finial that is inscribed with "SCOTTISH AUTOMOBILE CLUB" in raised lettering. The centre of the hoop displays a St Andrew's Cross. The signpost has four white-painted cast-iron arms, each featuring black raised lettering and black-painted edges.
