Description
This is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house located at 13 and 15 Church Street in Newton Stewart. The building is constructed of rubble with squared granite quoins and margins.
The central doorway features a modern door and a fanlight above it. The windows are single light, all of which are sash and case with plate glass glazing, while the first floor has four-pane glazing.
The house has coped end stacks with octagonal cans and is topped with slate roofs. The flank and rear of the building are harled, and there is a two-storey flat-roofed addition at the rear.
