Description
Mill House, located on High Street in New Galloway, is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house. It is constructed from squared granite rubble, featuring polished raised margins, with painted flanks and a rear. The entrance includes a double leaf door topped by a narrow fanlight. The house has single light sash windows that follow a 12-pane glazing pattern. At the rear, there is a single storey lean-to extension made of rubble. The rear windows have been updated with modern plate glass. The roof is covered with slate and has coped end stacks.
