Description
Auchenknight is a farmhouse likely built around 1830. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure. The east elevation features stugged pink coursers with polished margins and a pilastered central doorpiece, which includes a boarded door with a fanlight above it. The windows are fitted with 12-pane glazing, and there are end stacks on the roof, which is piended. The other elevations are made of whitewashed rubble. At the rear, there is a single-storey and attic two-bay wing with a porch located in the south re-entrant angle, and a garage has been added alongside it. Above, there are two gabled dormer heads, and the entire building is roofed with graded slates.
