Description
Drumlanrig Summer House, located on the Drumlanrig Estate, is a small rustic summerhouse built in the mid-19th century with an octagonal plan. It features a steep-pitched facetted slate roof that is supported by tree trunks. The structure has three open bays that face roughly east, while the remaining bays are constructed with split branches arranged in geometric patterns on both the exterior and interior. The interior of the roof is treated in a similar manner and includes some matting to create a contrasting effect. There are seats along the walls made with matting, and the floor is cobbled.
