Description
Gardener's Cottage, located on the Drumlanrig Estate, dates from the earlier to mid-19th century. This single-storey cottage features three bays and has rear wings. It is constructed of stugged pink ashlar and includes a base course. The south elevation has a central door with a fanlight, flanked by two bays. Throughout the cottage, there are sash windows with 12-pane glazing. The piended roof is arranged in an E-plan and is topped with two symmetrically placed corniced axial stacks, all covered with graded slates.
