Description

Earlier/mid 19th century. Symmetrically arranged pair of

adjoining single-storey and attic 3-bay cottages. Snecked,

stugged and squared rubble with ashlar dressings and

chamfered reveals. Each cottage has depressed-arched doorway

in gabled porch, ground floor bipartite in gabled bay

(skylight over remaining bay), and long low rear wing.

Windows have 2-pane lower and 6-pane upper sashes

saw-toothed skews; end and axial stacks with square flues

linked by cope. All roofed with graded slates.
