Description

Symmetrical composition, but not all one date. School, tall

2-storey and attic gabled centre block with end stacks and

projecting central stair turret all built 1894 (dated),

single storey flanking wings built 1854 (dated), each wing

with wide gabled entrance bay nearest tall block, twin-gabled

flanks.

All built of stugged ashlar (tall block a darker colour) with

polished dressings and saw-toothed skews. Bipartite windows

(sashes); slate roofs.
