Description

Black Esk Bridge in Eskdalemuir was built by Park's masons in 1832, as indicated by the inscription and date. This road bridge features a single segmental arch that spans the Black Esk River. The roadway and the rebuilt straight parapets slope downwards towards the north. The bridge is constructed from rubble, with ashlar coping on the parapets.
