Description

The Telford Monument, located in Westerkirk Parish Library in Bentpath, was erected in 1928 as a tribute to Thomas Telford. It is made of rock-faced white granite and features three bronze inscription panels along with a medallion bust created by Francis A.R.S.A. The monument is set on a low platform with steps, and it consists of a central upright slab that is flanked by lower and wider uprights, which include benches.
