Description
The monument to Thomas Henry Thomas is a tall and striking structure made of white marble, located at New Bethel. It is set within a small decorative enclosure, featuring short railings on a stone plinth that is covered in ivy. The plinth supports a tall pier with corner shafts and a trefoil arch that frames the inscription panels. Above this, there is a substantial entablature moulding with semi-circular arches on each side, adorned with urn finials at the corners. This entablature supports a pedestal decorated with swags, which holds a smaller angled pedestal topped with a large draped urn.
